SEE YOU SOON
On March the 17th we celebrated St Patrick’s day .
We prepared by decorating the home in Irish colors and hung bunting , and shamrock paper chains around the room. We started our day with Irish music from our regular visiting entertainer Henry, before enjoying a themed lunch of Irish dishes. In the afternoon we sat and watched River dance on television followed by a real Irish dancing demonstration, in traditional Irish dress. We finished the day by watching beautiful places to visit in Ireland , the whole day was a great success and enjoyed by all, the day was organized with help from staff and the activities coordinator Kay, who looked suspiciously like a leprechaun on the day!
