Chalcraft Hall has a loyal and dedicated team of Carers and Ancillary Staff who are committed to providing the highest standard of care and support to all residents from the moment they arrive.
The home has an excellent reputation for providing a one-to-one, person-centred approach to care which is focused on providing clients with the service and lifestyle that they would like as an extension of family life.
All staff receive CRB checks and clearance from the Independent Safeguarding Authority’s Vetting and Barring list as standard before starting their employment with the home. We employ senior carers, care assistants, domestic staff, cooks and a maintenance person all of whom are led by our fully qualified and experienced Registered Manager.
The home encourages care staff to spend as much individual time with clients as possible. We aim to have at least three care staff and a manager on duty during the day and two waking staff on duty throughout the night meaning that our clients are safe, monitored and able to get quick response to their needs, around the clock.
The home is fully committed to staff development and provides ongoing, up-to-date training opportunities and courses in a wide range of areas to help staff at all levels to become increasingly more aware of individual clients’ needs and more efficient at dealing with them. Staff also receive training in the home’s core philosophy and values of providing quality care to ensure that our good standards and reputation are upheld.
