Our Philosophy

‘ We aim to provide our Clients with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance.’

We aim to provide our Clients with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance. We will strive to maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all clients within a warm and caring atmosphere, and in so doing, will be sensitive to the clients’ ever changing needs. Such needs may be medical, welfare, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional or social and Clients are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised care plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and which we greatly value. We further believe that people with dementia problems should receive the best care possible in a comfortable, supportive and secure environment that recognises the fact that they are often vulnerable and may not always be capable of expressing their needs adequately.

We, at Chalcraft Hall Care Home, offer a highly professional care service for older people, who may also suffer from dementia, with a personal touch. They need a Home where individuality is emphasised with person-centred care by skilled staff who have time to give attention to small detail, and where they have the choice of enjoying the company of fellow clients and in the community.
